My name and address is shown on one of the pages during the process of paying for goods/services. Is this being shown to the payees, and if so why?

It is shown to you so you can edit or add another shipping address.  The recipient will see name and address so they know where to ship your order. Now if you are sending money for services through Send & Request page, you can opt to not provide mailing address if not needed by clicking the address drop down menu.  Sometimes it depends on how PayPal is integrated with the merchant's checkout flow.  They may require a shipping address.  Even if you do not require shipping address, your name and email address will be shown to the seller to reference the transaction and assist with order processing.

Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
