My PayPal balance disappeared

Ok so i received money from friend it showed up in my account PayPal balance for minute and received email too that said you got money and i was in process to transfer it to my bank account but the funds disappeared it all happened in like 3 minutes. Now I went through all my account summary all I see is money received but paypal is 0 balance where is my money im reading all this topics that is similar to my situation but no one reported that they got their funds back. My funds is not a small amount its a $700+ how could this happen please help.

What are the transaction details in your PayPal account on your computer?

Details: paid by ( first last name) email of the sender then it says ( send by (first and last name) $700.00 Transaction ID XXXXXXXXXXX Total. $ 700.00 Status ( money received) +$700.00

 And is that all your see on the transaction detials page, just a run-on line of words and numbers?  A whole page and that's all that's on the page?

What other line transactions are on your activity and/or summary page?

Yes that is all I see and this is the last transaction that shows in my summary page after this there is no more money in or out status of this transaction still says received and paypal balance is still 0.

So you do have a record of the funds being received, even now?  At what point during the process of transfering the funds, did you discover the funds were gone? Was there an error message when transfering that there was no funds in your PayPal account?  Was it after you completed the transfer that the balance was showing nothing in the PayPal Balance box on the Summary page?  That is normal. But you should see a Pending transaction for the bank transfer right away.

Ok so i received the funds it was showing in my paypal balance let's say at 9pm then I click on transfer at 9:01pm then it give me msg that the funds I wanted to transfer will be taking from my bank account that is linked to my paypal account then i cancel the transfer and click back to see my main page that showed paypal balance and then it was gone balance was 0 so within a 2 or 3 minutes it happened. And yes it still showed in my activities that funds have been received even now.

why did you cancel the transfer?

Because as i said in my msg it was gonna take the money from my bank account I cancelled because I wanted to transfer paypal balance to my bank account not transfer money from my other bank account to my main bank account. It's so frustrating that all this people asking me questions and no one tells me the solution.

No one can give you a solution unless you specifically explain all of your actions line by line, showing associated account changes.

You then need to look at the transaction details for each transaction.
