Negative balance

I have £-50 in my paypal account and i cant pay it back until christmas but i am getting emails saying i have to pay it back but they are not replying to mine what do i do?

They don't need to reply to you, all they need you to do is pay.

If you continue to refuse to do so then paypal will ''sell'' your debt to a collection agency that will be knocking on your home door or place of work to try and get the debt paid.

PayPal is not a credit source.  You owe PayPal money.   PayPal does not establish re-payment plans; you need to contact your bank for a loan with a payment plan.  A negative balance is a retricted activit and reason to close your account.  PayPal WILL sell your debt to a collect who will actively find you to collect the money.

But in only 13 how can i be in debt

Then you should not be opening a paypal account as you have to be 18 to open one so you must have lied when you opened it.

That means your paypal account will be limited until you pay your debt and they may well chase your parents for the debt and it may lead to a poor credit rating when you are an adult.

Why did it allow me to link my under 18 card to paypal then

That does not matter, paypal clearly state you are not allowed to open a paypal account until you are 18.....you did so you are to blame.

But you should be able to check with the bank before it is added to the account
