I received an email from Pay Pal stating ScanGuard payment is due 12/17. I canceled that service months ago. Do NOT pay them automatically. Thanks

You're asking a peer to peer community to assist with something that cannot be done through this public forum. You can double check your account yourself to ensure that you did cancel the recurring payment - if you did, it may be a timing issue depending on when you cancelled the payment and you would have to contact the seller or merchant about a refund.
Here's how to check:
Login to your account.
Click the Settings (gear) icon near the top of the page.
Under the "Payment" section.
Select "Manage Pre-approved Payments".
Select the merchant whose agreement you want to cancel and click "Cancel".
Click Cancel Profile to confirm your request.
* Cancelling a subscription cancels all future scheduled payments of that subscription.
* A subscription can be cancelled up until the day of the next scheduled payment.
