Paid Autozone using Paypal, immediately cxl the transaction Paypal still charged me

On Friday I purchased some car parts at Autozone and paid with Paypal thinking it was safe and secure and I would be protected. I never even took the parts out of the store. The transaction was cancelled right away and Autozone submitted a refund immediately which shows up on my paypal account. I dont see why Paypal is still tryting to take the money out of my account on Monday if the transaction has been canceled and the funds were immediately refunded. I have tried to call, email, and submit a problem but I have yet to reach anyone and can not even submit a problem.

When you pay a seller it is never instant > paypal credit the seller for you and then start the process of uploading your funds to paypal from your funding source. This is done so you get your item more quickly.

So when you cancel that payment those funds can't do a u-turn > they have to process through to paypal who will then either return them to your funding source (if you paid with a debit or credit card), or credit your paypal balance (if it was funded from your balance or instant bank transfer), but that takes a few days and sometimes up to a week.
