So, I am planning on making a purchase on Ebay that totals around $2250. I have a PayPal credit line of $1750. I understand that PayPal will evaluate a potential increase during the purchase, but my question is based upon an increase not being granted.
If I make the purchase, will PayPal allow me to use the $1750 in credit and pay the rest through my bank account tied to PayPal? What exactly will happen in this situation? Will it just not allow me to use the credit at all if I do not have enough of a credit line to cover the entire purchase?
I have searched pretty extensively through the forums and could not find an answer to this question. Thanks for any help.

For anyone that finds this in the future, I am going to answer my own question.
Just got off the phone with support. PayPal Credit is an all or nothing process. You cannot combine credit with other forms of payment as a split payment. However, if you are dealing with an Ebay seller, you can reach out to them and ask them to invoice you twice. Create an invoice for the amount of your credit line and then an invoice for the remaining amount. Otherwise, partial payments are not possible.
