I sold 4 bags of Shakeology to a buyer. She only wanted to pay $15.00 for the shipping which she wanted shipped in a flat rate box. No insurance was paid for. I ended up paying $31.98 just to ship. I was nice enough to just pay the extra for shipping. I sent her pictures of the receipt with tracking and explained I had to pay more than she provided. I received no response. Not even a "Thank you" When she received the package she said there was only one bag. She said the box was damaged. She asked if I put insurance on package. I explained I didn't because she didn't give me enough money to cover shipping let alone insurance. She filed claim and the resolution Center said she could get full refund after she shipped me original purchase. I sent proof of shipping and texts from her stating how to ship. How's she's going to ship original when she says she didn't get them all? I will be out my money and my Shakeology.

Sending 'trackable' or 'insured' should always be your decision and not the buyers.
The buyer is always going to choose the cheapest method as they know they have buyer protection and can get their money back if the item does not turn up or is misdescribed etc.
Sorry but if she did actually only get x1 packet then of course she deserves a refund and then you claim from your postal service if you chose to send insured etc, the fact you chose not to does not stop the buyer being refunded unfortunately for you.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
