I bought something off Google Play. I used the Paypal pre-payment. The very next day, I put the amount I spent back into my Paypal. Rather than take money out of my Paypal, Paypal charged my bank account. Despite choosing another banking account as my primary way of payment, Paypal charged my joint checking, which has no money unless I transfer some into it. So I was overdrafted and charged 29.00 (3x) for every charge. Of course, Paypal is satisfied because they got their money. I called immediately and waited 24 minutes before I explained the situation. The woman told me that despite receiving the money, they were not able to cancel a transaction when it came through. I got a letter to show my bank. My bank accepted the letter, but refused to waive the fees. Paypal told me to call back if they refused. I called back again and waited almost an hour before I connected. I then proceeded to get yelled at by some woman who refused to listen to what the previous agent had told me. if I cannot at least get compensated, I want to know how to delete my account and spread how awful Paypal is. I rather use Venmo or literally any other account after this poor excuse of professionalism I have witnessed. I am a new member and I am definitely not impressed. I have to pay 87 dollars because of a 12 dollar transaction.
