Seller protection on invoices?

Hello all! I was just wondering if I am covered under seller protection If I send an invoice? A lady has emailed me and requested I send an item to Nigeria and she has said she will pay me through Paypal. She said I can send her an invoice and that is how she will pay me and I will ship the item(Louis Vuitton Wallet) to Nigeria. I was wondering if you all think this is a scam and am I covered under seller protection if she pays and I ship then she tries to retract her funds?

Thanks and I would appreciate a speedy response.

Invoice payments are covered, yes, but only if eligible. You won't know for sure if it's eligible until you receive the payment and you can look at the Seller Protection Eligibility that gets included. If it's eligible, make sure you ship to the exact address provided on the transaction details and you should be good.

That said, Nigeria is a common place where fraud occurs, and the product you are selling is a targeted product for fraud. Even if covered by seller protection you could end up with a lengthy hold placed on the funds before you're able to withdrawal.

Personally, I would find another buyer, but that's just me.
