So I have linked a new Visa Gift Card and the Visa card is not an option when going to send money.  Not sure why I can't use or access to card?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Did you complete the process of confirming the gift card with the test charges?  I take it that the gift card was also registered at the site on back of gift card under the same account info as PayPal account?

Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂

I did not do any test purchases or charges.   I entered the card number. exp date. security code.  I do have my home address listed the billing address.

The address on the back of the car just has the Bank Name, City and Zip.   No street or P.O. Box.

PayPal may not accept some gift cards, particularly the ones that don't require you to register at a website to add card owner information, manage balances, etc.  You will need to confirm the card where PayPal puts a temporary test charge on it and you enter the PayPal code the card in your PayPal Wallet.  You will need a registered card so you can check card account for code.

Where did you get the card and what brand is the Visa gift card?  (i.e. Vanilla Visa gift card)

Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂

Bought it at Bartell's Drug Store.  It's a standard Visa Black gift card.

I will try and go online and register the card. That might do the trick. Will have to do that this evening though.

Because the gift card has limited funds available.  PayPal needs a credit card back where more funds are available.

The gift card has enough funds for the payment.

The card needs funds for multiple purchases and future backup payments.

Why not just make the pruchase with the gift card; there should be no reason use PayPal when the card could be used on it's own.

Well,  I'm sending the money to an individual via G&S.  He does not accept credit cards.

If I bouhght a $350 goft card, shouldn't I be able to use that amount?
