I just set up PayPal Here and entered a test sale using a credit card. In the downloaded actiivity report, the Type is "PayPal Here (KnuckleBuster) Payment". What's KnuckleBuster mean?

Perhaps they meant the charge was manually entered opposed to a swipe of the magnetic strip.

A manual credit card swipe machine where you insert the card, put a carbon paper credit card slip over card and roll over the embrossed card to get an imprint of the card on to the credit card slip.  If can sometime bust your knuckles when rolling over the card, hence the name.

Thanks, Sharpiemarker. Any reason why PayPal marks a credit card transaction I entered on a table through PayPal Here as a knucklebuster? Or is it just a historic relic. Truth is, since I just set up Here, I just want to make sure there's nothing wrong with the way I set it up.

Sort of makes sense - at least I confirmed that my test transaction did go through. Anyway, +1 Kudo and Accepted.
