So sometimes I like to do art comissions for people.
The first time I tried it (a long time ago) the person felt they needed to pay a little more to cover the fee of paying for the art.
So is there an option where they don't have to pay for the fee?
I've had a paypal for a long time but I rarly ever use it, so I don't know a lot about it..
Or should I tell the people the price of the comission + the fee = total price?
Thanks

Why would they pay a fee? Sellers pay fees not buyers.
If you mean that you are selling art and using the friends / family route for payment then its against paypal rules and could lead to your account being limited.

A good seller builds the fee into his service /goods,so customers do not get offended when they find out some sellers charge fee and some do not.
Also I dont think you can ask more due to fee,or ask customer to pick up the fee.
There is an article recently that some small businesses are asking for a surcharge when some one pays with credit card, one restaurant owner said he has been paying 30k per year on cc fee and now he is fighting back,as he cant absorb that much.
It is state by state,
I would think shops can just say cash discount, sound better than surcharge .
Using friend and family, you will avoid fee,but you get no seller protection but you are selling service, there is no protection for service rendered, digital download .

I'm not sure why they would pay a fee which is why I've only gotten paid via paypal once... because I didn't know how to resolve this at the time.
What is the friends / family route? How do I check it and how do I change this?
