I have shopped at Wish.com for a few years and always used my Paypal account.  However, now when I try to use Paypal, I get the following message, "You PayPal account doesn't have a valid phone number."  I do have a phone number and have confirmed it.  

I have heard that Wish.com is not a good place to use a credit card.  Is this a way to try to force me to use a credit card rather than my Paypal account?

Figured it out!

If you are hitting pay with on the Cart screen you will get that message everytime! If you step through the shopping cart and identify the shipping information the next tab is Payment and youcan pay with PayPal there.

That doesn't work.  First I got the "unverified phone #" (which is WRONG, btw), now, I am unable to proceed until I submit a credit card #, security code and expiration date.  Pay Pal doesn't have any of those.  Really frustrating!

Doesn't work.  I can click "pay with paypal," it takes me there, I log in, return to wish and get the message about lack of a phone number and then it refuses to allow me to complete the transaction via paypal.  Tried it a bunch of times.  Can't click through or step through anything.

same problem with me.  I tried checking out, and it says that I need to submit a bank statement showing a transaction with them.  Well I can not do that because I have never been able to complete 1 order.  So I tried using Paypal and keep getting an error message 'You PayPal account doesn't have a valid phone number.'  I know my phone number is correct. 

I guess they do not want or need my order.  After reading all the negative comments, I am glad my order was not successful

I finally solved this problem!  I read another blog that Wish.com does this when you are using a coupon (which I was).  I solved it by doing two things--and I'm not sure which one was the actual solution.  First I typed a 0 in the promo code box, which as I expected, gave me a "not valid" message.  (Cool thing is, it still gave me the previous promo code discount.) Then I started over and clicked on "edit" next to my shipping address.  I corrected minor errors (lower cased name of my street and last name).  After that I went back through PayPal and my order went right through. I hope this helps!
