I'm looking at renting someone's Wyndham timeshare at Glacier Canyon in Wisconsin Dells. This seems to be a pretty common thing among owners since there are numerous people offering time shares for short term rentals. Standard procedure is that you pay them through a paypal invoice and then they make the reservation in your name.
I'm just nervous about paying the invoice and not getting the reservation. I know paypal doesn't protect buyers of real estate and services, but will it at least protect me enough to ensure the reservation is actually made?
