im just curious as to how much paypal charges me for someone paying a request i sent them because the request was for 29.00 and when my friend paid the request i sent to their emial, and they paid it as a guest on paypal I only recieved 27.86, 27.36 or something like that but it still wasnt the 29.00 I initailly requested nor was it the 29.00 my friend paid... so why was there this invisible fee that wasnt mentioned anywhere in any of the disclaimers?? and how much is it
If you send a money request or invoice then you are a 'seller' requesting a payment and so pay a fee.
This would be the same if your friend used the send money > goods / services option.
The only time there is no fee is if your friend had used the send money > friends / family option AND funded it from funds already in their paypal balance OR from their bank account. If they used a credit card then again there would be a fee.
