refund taking forever

i bought a jacket at ebay listed for $24.66 it was bought at dec 7 2016 its dec 20 2016 already today i still don't have the text message for my bank statement it already says refunded, i also have another case where i bought something in adidas and they ended up cancelling my order and giving me a refund it says in my paypal its been refund but i also can't see it in my bank statements

Did you fund it via debit card from your bank or bank transfer.

Refunds to cards will take up to 30 days.  If there is an issue refunding it back on your debit card, it will go on your balance.  By the way, is the Visa debit card linked to a bank account or a standalone debit card?

If you paid with card, it goes back to card, if you paid with bank or PP balance, it goes back to balance and then you can withdraw back to bank.

contact paypal to have it clarified. becos if you used your bank... then it's possible that you've already used the refund for other purchases.

what funding source did you used ?  there are lots of reason why you haven't receive the refund,

it's possible that it was processed using eCheck ( electronic check that will clear after 3-5 business days )
