Paypal Credit Statements

Hello,

Is anyone else unable to view Paypal Credit, formerly Bill Me Later Statements?

This error has been occurring on since BillMeLater became PaypalCredit.

I need to see my full statement not just the balance and amount due.

On the Summary page, when I click on "Paypal Credit" it goes to:

https://www.paypal.com/myaccount/credit

the tab shows: PayPal: Internal Error and the page shows the error message:

"We are not able to process your request. Please try again later."

cheers, Idi

Got my new online "statement".  I have a balance...Promotional balances with expiration dates...no payment due....But it also says my last cycle balance is the same as this month's balance and I have no payments, debits or credits since my last statement!  This is categorically false.  I have made a payment, and there are credits and debits during the last cycle.  Some of the promotional items are from the last 30 days, but with ZERO line by line transaction information there is no proof any balance they show me can be documented as being correct.

You can't say I have amounts owed while simultaneously saying there are no new transactions.  If you were to be held to honor your statement that there are no new transactions, you couldn't say I owe you money...because there ARE NO NEW TRANSACTIONS.   Do you get it?  If one part of your system serves up incorrect information it brings the integrity of your entire accounting system into doubt.  So...make up your mind  do I have credits and debits in the prior billing cycle or don't I.

P.S. You've migrated me from Bill Me Later to your new combined site.  Therefore ALL info should be in one place.  Don't even THINK about making the excuse that the info is not available because its Bill Me Later info and not Paypal info.

Dear PayPal_Nicole,

No thank you.  I'm sure if contacted PayPal by chat or phone they would be more than happy to give me any info I need regarding my account.  Yeah...THEIR software works fine...its the one you provide for US that everyone's complaining about.  And I can bet your (plural) cheerful denial to admit there's a problem **bleep** many other people off just as much as it does me.  The problems with your website and the compounded 3-way shell game among PayPal > Bill Me Later -> Ebay  can't be sweet talked away; no matter how many rainbows an unicorns you use.

Okay, I've tried Firefox and IE. I get exactly the same thing with both. I have a promotional balance to pay, but cannot find out what it is. I get sent to BillMeLater which doesn't do anything but tell me to go to PayPal. But I cannot see anything but my current balance and minimum payment due, and nothing about the promotional balance.

I don't see anything about a "new" PayPal, and no "money" tab. This is a crock. FIX IT. This is serious - it is people's money and credit. FIX IT.

Had a rough time, but have gotten the Bill Me Later to Pay Pal Credit and all the associated routing and rerouting sorted out today.

My accounts are linked, everything is correct and I saw my statement and schedued an on-line bank transfer, so it's all good.

Here's what I did, today.

1) called 866-528-3733

2) entered all of the automated info EXCEPT the account number.  I smacked "0" to get right to an CS rep (highly recommend)

3) explained I could not access PayPalCredit statement, Bill Me Later account was effectively dead, and I was caught in a loop

of Bill Me Later, Pay Pal, Pay Pal Credit card offer and the inability to link my accounts.

4) CS rep confirmed my acct balance on the old Bill Me Later acct.  She also said that the acount WAS linked, but to some OTHER

PayPal account (that I had "closed" YEARS ago).  I could not access it, the passwords were long forgotten

5) the Credit CS said she's have to get PayPal to de-link and re-link the old, then new accts.  She stayed on the line until the

Pay Pal Agent joined the call (I liked that she cared enough to make sure the call wasn't dropped)

6) After answering a few identity verification questions with PayPal, the agent saw the problem.  Dead PalPay account.  She simply

de-linked the accounts.  She sent me back to the PayPalCredit linking page and asked me to try linking my accounts.

7)  Magic...confirmation in seconds.

😎 The PayPal Agent stayed on the phone with me while I scanned my PayPal/PayPalCredit Summary page.  Everything was

there, now.  Balances all correct.  Statement available.

9)  Scheduled my on-line payment.  DONE

The take away was keeping people on the phone while you do things was essential.  Everyone was pleasant and helpful.

The nicer and the more understanding I was about their plight to get EVERYONE linked, the easier the process was.

Good luck and best wishes for quick resolutions for all of you, too!!!

For the sake of those users whose experience is different from yours would you be willing to provide the following: What operating system and application are you using?  Phone or PC?  Any script or ad blocking software enabled or disabled?

I ask because numerous users are unable to utilize some portions of the PayPal website.  It would be useful to know what combination of software is being used by someone such as yourself who is able to view all the features.

The screenshots that were posted are of no use to some of us. If I log in to Paypal and attempt to click "View Statements" for my Paypal Credit (by the way, if you hover your mouse over the link it says it will send you to BillMeLater.com) it sends me to this link https://www.billmelater.com/block-access.xhtml?conversationId=2105206 on which the only option is a clickbox that sends me back to Paypal.

I have not been able to access my statements since the changeover. Federal Law requires that credit card companies (which I'd be willing to bed Paypal credit would fall under) provide monthly statements with specific information regarding time to payoff, etc.

Based on the date of the first posting in this thread, Paypal has to have been aware of this issue since at least Sep 15, 2014 and has plenty of time to correct the issue. I've attempted to get to my statements using the latest versions of both Chrome and Firefox on both Windows 8.1 and Linux but get the same results on each.

It's time to step up and get this fixed, Paypal.
