Hi all,
Is it possible to download data in Quickbooks WebConnect (.qbo format) from my PayPal. Or if not, anyone know if it's on the cards sometime in the future?
Thanks,

I WANT TO KNOW TOO!
QB online is awesome. the only thing that **bleep** is that it needs WEB CONNECT files to import (like .qbo)...not the .iif files used for importing into QB for your desktop.
Please help!

Go online and search for a file exchange for ... .qbo to .iif , down load or do it online to transfer one file to another. I just down loaded one for .jpeg to .pdf...... hope this helps

I use PayPal like a bank too and I just used http://www.propersoft.net/csv2qbo/
It worked exactly as I wanted it to. The free trial allows you to do 10 transaction lines at a time. I tested it and it worked, so I paid the $59.99 for the full license and I'm beyond thrilled. If you've got more time than money, you could limp along by doing 10 lines at a time, but the free trial is for a limited period of time after activation.
The one warning I have for you is that I noticed that there was an item in the shopping cart that was for technical support and it showed that the first month was free and then it seemed like there was a recurring monthly charge after that, but you can delete this line item to avoid ongoing monthly charges.
Here are the instructions for making it work with QB:
Log into your PayPal account
Go into All Account Activity
Set your date range at the top
Export your history by clicking the CSV link next to the word Download
Select "Comma Delimeted - Balance Affecting Payments" from the drop down list that pops up
(you could select "Tab Delimited - All Activity", but it's going to give you even more junk you don't need)
PayPal will email you a link to the export, click it and open the CSV
This gives me loads of columns I don't need, so I recorded a macro to pare them down
Then, I delete any rows that are unneccesary like Authorizations and Temporary Holds, leaving just Completed transactions
Save your cleaned up CSV
Open CSV2QBO and browse to the location of your exported CSV
I didn't have to modify any of the Mapping in the program, but you may want to peek at it to be sure.
I clicked Convert and it prompted me to save the coverted QBO
Then, I went to the QBO file on my computer and double clicked it and it opened up the Online Banking center automatically
It was really intuitive from that point on, because it was just like doing any other Online Banking import
The import ended up in one of my online banking accounts (in my case it was Wells Fargo)
Later I discovered that the website from the program has easy to follow step by step instructions, but I didn't need them
Again, I'm really happy with this programs capability and I hope it works for you too!

Thanks for the info. You just saved hours and hours trying to figure it out. I did it. It worked wonderful. Was worth the 59$.

The propersoft csv to QBO worked perfectly for me as well. Install, setting up the account in QB and figuring it all out took less than an hour... and saved me that much time at least with my first batch of payments. Thanks for the recomendation!

There are some thirdparty sites which provides it. I have personally never used it and can not recommend any. Here are some info I have found on intuit community - https://community.intuit.com/questions/787477-importing-paypal-transactions-into-quickbooks-online.
I would suggest all those who require it reply to this post and ask for the same. I believe someone from PayPal will definitely help you guys, if there are too many users demanding for it.
