Send money is defaulted to $0.00; and won't let me change the amount. How do i do it?

I'm attempting to send money to family. But paypal has defaulted to zero dollars and there is not option to change it.
What's going on here?

If you are using the PayPal App on your phone, you may consider uninstalling and re-intalling the app. On the other hand, if you are using a computer, you may try using a different browser or clear cache and cookies in your current browser. Once everything is set, sending money to your family should work fine. Cheers!
