Venmo, PayPal, and The Bancorp Bank

So here's my understanding:
PayPal owns Venmo.
Venmo can transfer to any bank that has ACH Transfers
The Bancorp Bank handles all things paypal (Business Debit Card, PrePaid Mastercard, etc.)
The Bancorp Bank does ACH Transactions.
PayPal Business Debit Cards do not provide a routing/account number for deposits (called in to verify)
Advised to purchase (Obtain + Load) a PayPal PrePaid Mastercard and attach to PayPal for deposits.
Questions:
Why when I enter the routing and account number does Venmo keep telling me they don't support that bank?
How is it in this day and age 2 companies under the same umbrella, providing essentially the same services, managed by the same corporate giants make this so complicated?
Is there another method of receing funds that doesn't require a franchised bank account which I neither have nor desire.

I know this is PayPal Community not Venmo Community, however there seems to be sharper tools in this shed and thought I could get a quick direct answer. Emailed Venmo, but no clue as to the turnaround time on that.

Hey! I just went thru this! When you log into paypal it's thru paypal.com now for the business prepaid paypal mastercard debit (or whatever it's called) you have to go to paypal.com/prepaid. Yes your card is probably already linked in the paypal app but you have to link it here as well. So go to www.paypal.com/prepaid On the main page you will see a lot of action like activate card log into card etc etc IGNORE THOSE! Now click on the upper left hand corner where there is a little menu button it kinda looks like a tiny window blind or a note pad anyway click that and your pull down menu options are: login to prepaid account, forgot password, get online access. Click on GET ONLINE ACCESS then you will put in your paypal card number and cvc2 and guess what???? YUP that's it! I know sounds so stupid trust me it took me 2 days of calls to find someone that could figure it out lol! Anyway after doing that make your transfer or what not and make sure it says what you did like deposit or send 25 or whatever. Then JUST to be certain logout and log back in. GOOD LUCK! And yes paypal I would be more than happy to work for you! ; )

What is it you are trying to do? Sometimes it is for contractual reasons that a subsidiary won't support a licenced product. But please explain, thanks.
