Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Fingerprint Issue

Hi all,

I previously owned a Galaxy S6 Edge on which I was able to use my fingerprint to log in to the Paypal app without any issues. After upgrading to the S7 Edge I constantly get a notice saying, "We can't confirm your fingerprint" whenever I try to link it to the app. This seems to be a common problem. What is it about this phone specifically that causes this error? Hopefully PayPal are working on a fix for this?

Having the same exact issue on the edgeless Galaxy S7.  Fingerprints work with every other app just fine, but for some reason, when trying to link to PayPal, the error message "Can't confirm your fingerprint"  comes up every time. Tried restarting the phone, tried clearing out fingerprints and setting them up again.  Nothing seems to work. Very Frustrating

Same issue. What really burns is the fact I got an email telling me to link my fingerprint today.

Same issue on S7. Worked perfectly on S5. Nice how both companies are blaming the other. It wild be nice if they would at least check the issue and respond.

Oh I fully believe this is paypal's software. No other software has issues /w fingerprint that Ive run into. But I have read about a couple other phones that have the same issue /w paypal.
