Synchrony Bank - Paypal Extra MC

I am SO frustrated. I used to use my PP Extra MC as my primary card...everything from groceries to coffee. Suddenly last week it was declined. When I went online to check, the Paypal MC link (which takes me to Synchrony Bank) took me to a screen that said call the 866 number.

I recently paid a big vet bill, so I figured it was a fraud hold. No worries, I thought, I'll confirm the charges and everything will be find.

Well I had to go through a lot of security questions (that's fine) but when they went to text me a code... whatever number they had didn't match my phones....the ones I've had for years AND the ones that are clearly associated with my Paypay account!!! The only thing I could do is have them snail mail me my code. One week later...still no code. Yet they want me to pay the bill w/o me being able to SEE my charges. WTH!!??? Why isn't my info from my Paypal account sync'd with their info on me!!? When this get's resolved, I will CUT UP my Synchrony CC and cancel my account.  DO NOT USE THEM!

Just use a regular credit card or bank debit card and avoid the problems that go with a PayPal card.
