Empty package with tracking #

Hello. Everyone. I need help. I purchased a iPhone, but the seller sent the empty package with the tracking number. I claimed this case to Paypal, but Paypal was on the seller side. They said I received the package from the seller. Even though I attached pictures of the empty package with the claim.... Is there any idea??? Please help me. Thanks.

Do you have a witness that the package was empty?  Do you have any other supporting evidence such as the package weight on the label?

PayPal has no way of knowing which party is telling the truth, so the decision goes the tracking number.

It is extremely important to do research before purchsing discount electlronics, especially Apple products; such purchases are extremely high risk, so buyer must be very cautious, often to the point of not even buying.

how did you file your claim?

item not received or item not as described.

Buyer usually win item not as described.

Tracking showed it was received, so automatically closed.

You could phone PayPal customer service to see if you can change it to not as described.

did you pay with a credit card?

If Paypal said you cant appeal,then file  a chargeback with your credit card issuer.

Where did you buy it?

you should report him to the venue provider.

No. My bad..I used the Paypal Credit...

You can also file a dispute directly with PayPal Credit.  Note that they decide on cases under different criteria than PayPal disputes.  Purchase Protection terms do not apply so it could be under more broader terms.
