Horrible Security system

I opened my Paypal and my Paypal Credit line for one reason. To use it. I opened it last week, and got approved for $800 dollars, I'm starting a home office so I went to purchase some computer supplies and the transaction was rejected. Paypal would not let me check out using Paypal. No form of payment through paypal was allowed. No bank account, no credit card, no nothing. 
Okay fine, so I call in and verify my identity, my address and my social. And the lady who was on the line gets my restriction removed. Now Paypal lets me checkout....using anything but my Paypal credit line. So once again I call in to find out whats going on. 
Now they are telling me I must "wait" up to 24 hours before the account can be used because its new. At this point I'm a little **bleep** off but fine, it is new and 24 hours isn't very long to wait. 
So I wait the 24 and try again. 
Locked down, my entire Paypal account goes into lockdown and suggests I must call in, yet again, to get my restriction lifted. I call in and they get it removed. But my paypal credit line still doesnt work. I call in AGAIN. They tell me that they have done everything they can and to just try waiting. I informed them I already waited the 24 hours. They suggest waiting 48 this time.
Now I'm really **bleep** off, because I wouldn't have opened this account, if I didn't have a important need for it.
But okay fine. I wait the 48 hours and try again. This time the account gets fully locked, I can't even log in to get the "contact us" pass code to skip the absurd hold times. So I stay on the line for OVER 1 hour before I get someone. They inform me that I must submit a utility bill, a government issued photo ID, and a credit card statement.  
Royally **bleep** off but I submit ALL the documents and get my account back ONCE AGAIN . They also tell me that their "security system" is flagging all of my purchases. I can not get a single purchase to go through to Paypal Credit and there is nothing they can do to help. The lady was proffesional but unhelpful. She suggests I wait "awhile" before atemppting another purchase. 

Great, so I took a hit on my credit, opened a new account for nothing. So I wait three days this time and try again. IT WORKED! I get a payment to go through on Ebay of all places. No bias there paypal. But almost immediately after my account gets locked down once again. I call in AGAIN, get the restriction lifted and I look through my account to see Paypal has taken it upon itself to flag my ONLY PURCHASE as fraud and under review. SERIOUSLY?!

So I call in again (note this is twice in under 20 min becuase the person I spoke to did not want to stay on the line while I review my account.)

This time the lady tells me I must submit 

1. Government Issued photo ID

2. Utility Bill
3. Bank statement
4. A picture of my social security card (really? talk about liability)
5. Credit card statement
And couple of other things I honestly can't even remember. Desperate to get this working, I submit all of the documents. Get my account back yet AGAIN and log back in. After looking I see the only purchase I managed to make is still flagged and under review. I figure I'll let it cool off for a couple days and try again later since this seems to be a repeating pattern.
I wait and try again two days later. Everything is being blocked again. I call in to Paypal and they say my acocunt is fine aand they transfer me to Paypal credit. Now Paypal Credit is telling me I have to verify my identity YET AGAIN this time via mail. I informe her I have already done this numerous time via the upload documents section of the website. She tells me that that was for Paypal, and they are Paypal Credit and it MUST me mailed in. So I'm am looking at a 1 month turn around time.

 

Keep in mind I left quite a bit of back and forth out because it would just take too long to type out.

That's it, I am done. That is it for me. I will pay off the only purchase I was able to make on the acocunt and close it. I rather take the hit on my credit then do business with such a terrible, slimey company ever again. My husband and I will both close our account and suggest to family and friends to do the same. Never have I ever had such terrible and inconsistent services. Worst company I ever had the displeasure of dealing with.

 

EDIT: Looks like they have overzealous forum mods on here as well. If you think this is duplicate even though I explained that it isn't, feel free to delete the older one not the newer one. Which you would think goes without saying, but apparaently not.

It's difficult to comment other than "OK" we read your story which lacks a lot of details like your past credit history, your location, and information about your creditworthiness, all of which are important to PayPal Credit.
