MoneyPak scam

I purchased this MoneyPak with the assumption that I would be able to use it. But the GreenDot site always gives me an error message. Either the transaction failed or I could not be authenticated. I've tried two different computers. I called GreenDot as your representative told me to at 18669636219 and all I get is a busy signal. When I try the number on the GreenDot site which is different then the number PayPal gives me, the support reps for GreenDot hang up on me. It's happened twice.

Last night I got a message from Paypal that I needed to provide proof of my identity to verify that I am who I say I am.  So I uploaded the documents required and this morning I'm notified that my account is back in good standing. Okay, so you're researching ME. What about researching the company you work with that is orchestrating this scam? Are you checking the social security numbers of the people that work at GreenDot to see what they are doing with my money?

When I email GreenDot informing them that I'm unable to use the MoneyPak as advertised (i.e. false or deceptive advertising) I get a canned response that isn't even proper English because you and your affiliates outsource to foreign countries for cheap labor.

Thank you for contacting Green Dot MoneyPak Support. The MoneyPak is being used to reload a prepaid card, add funds to a PayPal account or pay merchants that accepts MoneyPak as form of payment. You may transfer the funds at www.moneypak.com or call our reload hotline at (800) 473-3636 and choose option 1.

Thanks for your interest in the Green Dot MoneyPak.

Here is the message I received everytime I logged into PayPal and tried to click "Add Money > Add Money from MoneyPak".

We are unable to process your transaction. Please re-login to your PayPal account to try again.

Between this and the fact that their support people hang up (bad phone lines in India?) and PayPal is really quick to try to verify my identity but doesn't do anything to get my $350 back, it's obvious GreenDot and PayPal are trying to scam me out of my money.

PayPal just emailed me with instructions for how to use my MoneyPak. That's very kind of them, except that none of these instructions work with the MoneyPak that I purchased. And I tried calling the phone number, except when I dial the number ###-###-#### I get an automated message that says "We're sorry your call cannot be completed as dialed." I've never seen a phone number that consists of all pound symbols. But I guess it's long distance.
