Hello i have a little bit of a problem or rather a question.

Today i sold ingame gold for a game for 55$. Everything went well, i got the money, he got the gold but a few hours later he claimed he didnt authorize it, and wants a refund. Here comes the tricky part. I got scamed too many times so after i got the money i inmediately withdraw it, now my paypal account is in negative. And now for the questions:

Since i have withdraw the money and it says its complete, but its friday so i asume i will get the money on Monday, right?

Can paypal issue a refund from my bank account? Can't i just delete everything after i received the money and just dissapear? why does paypal only have these 3 options left? Is unfair, i cant even protect myself!

I have shipped the item and I can provide proof that the item was shipped through an approved shipper to the address on the Transaction Details page.
I have not shipped the item and I will refund the payment
.I have refunded the payment for this transaction.

You can't close your account with a negative balance, if you don't pay it back then paypal will sell your debt to a debt recovery agency who can turn up at your home or workplace to try and get the money from you.

Its not unfair, there is NO paypal seller protection for virtual items, you can sell them but at your own risk and that is what you chose to do.

Yes but  also there is NO paypal BUYER protection for virtual items! So what are we talking about? How come he can open a dispute but i cant react? Cant even defend my own rights? How should i even contact the service and tell them that the item in question is a virtual item when i only have 3 choices? If he decides to issue an "unarthorized" move, how can i even protect myself? Can i just go around and scam ppl like this too?

You are the seller, so the only aspect that is relevant for you is the NO SELLER PROTECTION for virtual items.

I may be the seller, but according to the user agreements paypal protects neither the seller nor the buyer incase the goods are  virtual items,  then how come he can open a dispute when it shouldn't be possible according to paypals own rules?

There is no buyer protection for ITEMS NOT RECEIVED or ITEMS RECEIVED BUT NOT AS DESCRIBED for virtual items BUT

A buyer can still open a dispute for an unauthorised transaction or do a chargeback.

Does paypal actually investigate if those claims for unauthorised transaction or chargebacks are valid? Or everybody can just randomly do this and scam ppl?

Unauthorized transactions are generally through the credit card company where you have better buyer protection.  That's a good reason for using a credit card for online purchases.

PayPal will have automatic reviews of claims for unauthorized transactions such as verifying the device and account used for the purchase.  If the purchase was from the account-holder's computer it's easy to deny an unauthorized transaction claim.  Furthermore, falsely claiming unauthorized PayPal purchase risks having an account closed or limited.

So even if he did receive the item, he can just charge back it "legaly"? This is how paypal works? Good to know...

Not quite correct.

1. An unauthorised transaction is done via a buyers PAYPAL ACCOUNT and they are more or less saying that their paypal account has been hacked and used without their consent. And yes paypal does investigate those and if they find evidence its not true then they would lose the dispute.

2. A chargeback is done directly via a buyers CREDIT CARD, and paypal have no say in the matter, the card company does the investigation but paypal will put forward any evidence on your behalf.

If you lose either of these AND you have full seller protection then paypal will reimburse you. BUT as you don't have seller protection for virtual items then they won't.

Its your choice really, sell with or without seller protection at your own risk.
