GearBest Problems

CAUTION buying from GearBest. Product "delivered" 12/12/2017 according to their order tracking report however it was not delivered, most likely never sent, USPS could not located any information about the tracking # provided by GearBest on their website. After many attempts to reach GearBest I only got one response telling me to see their tracking process on their website (boilerplate response, not generated by person. Half dozen attempts, over 2+ months time frame, resulted in NO responses from GearBest. This order is valued at $17 flashlight, small enough order that one should expect seller to fulfill but maybe being small $$ is why they choose not to fill hoping buyer will just walk away and not spend hours to get refund or for seller to send item which they were paid for. So far PayPal is just telling me what seller told them, same thing they told me, ITEM DELIVERED.  Order placed 11/17/2017, about 80 days ago and still no resolution so, waiting for response to email send to PayPal today asking "what help will I should expect from them now, refund, getting seller to resend item, etc, Meanwhile, I would like to ask others, how to get word out that GEARBEST IS SELLER TO AVOID. Thanks

I had the same problem and paypal ruled in favor of Gearbest.

I suggest you avoid Gearbest, Dealextreme, Ebay and others and just use Aliexpress. they have everything the other chinese sites have but the difference is they have their own payment system. You don't need paypal. And tracking is integrated into aliexpress so if the package is not shipped or delivered, the money is refunded automatically. You don't have to explain anything to anyone.
