In December I singed up for a free two month trail for some software and decided not to get it. However they went to my PayPal account and took the money out. I tried to contact the company to no avail so filed a dispute with Pay Pal. I just got a notice that my claim was denied. I did not authorize this payment and am disappointed with Pay Pal, It is not the safe place I thought it was and want to cancel my account as well as my Pay Pal credit card. I can't find a place to do it as I did not give them my information to access my account.
Can someone please tell me how to cancel ? I am a 77 year old woman and I believe I was taken advantage of.

Notes: As per the FAQs: If you close your PayPal account, it can’t be reopened. Any scheduled or incomplete transactions are canceled. You can’t close your account if there are limitations, unresolved issues, or a balance. Also, if you have an email address on your account that you haven’t confirmed, remove it from your account before you close it.
