How do I cancel an invoice that is pending?

I bought something from a seller. We then agreed that I would send him the money instead of using the invoice because he didn't have a bank account. The invoice is still pending. I've asked him to cancel it because I don't want to accidentally pay it. He's not super familiar or really tech saavy so I don't see him cancelling anytime soon. Isn't there a way that I can cancel a pending invoice? There is NO cancel button in Summary or Activity. HELP!

You can cancel a money request or invoice at any time:
* Log in to your PayPal account.
* Click Cancel under the pending request on your Summary or Activity page. .
* Confirm by clicking Yes.

Thank you, I did but he is unfamiliar with PPL and not that tech saavy. He is unable to do this from his end AND he moved to South America! I don't even think he is using his account any more. By the way, since I started this thread I called cust service. They said there is something wrong with the way this is showing up in my account. NO invoices are showing up in my summary or activity pages. The guy got his supervisor and they sent it off to some other kind of support division because they can't fix it and it shouldn't be showing up this way. Anyway, if anyone is ever in this situation just know that it is possible that it IS a fluke and to call cust service!
