How to verify a payment from a client?

So, I got a payment of $75.99 from a client of mine, and he is a new client, his IP doesn't match his registered email id, however, the Paypal account is verified and Paypal didn't wait asked me to wait for verification sometimes they do when IP defers.

How to be sure this is not a scamming practice?

EDIT - We accept payment on our website directly via WHMCS. it is all done digitally.

Sorry, i forgot adding, i billed them using WHMCS, they come over our site and order digitally.

no idea what WHMCS is ,what is order digitally?read paypal seller protection for WHAT IS NOT COVERED.

I received an invoice from Paypal via email stating that a buyer from Nigeria have sent a payment to my Paypal account, when it does not show received. He said his bank account has been deducted with a said amount. Theres even a transaction number. What do I do? Is this guy fake or the Paypal invoice is fake?

Total fake.

You need to learn about invoices.  Buyers do NOT sent invoices.  Sellers send invoices.
