I was on a website called NBA2King and did not get my item. They promised the refund in 3 days i said ok. After no refund i opened a dispute. I conatced there customer support and told them what happend they told me i have to close the dispute then they can refund the money right away. I was wondering if i should trust them or if closing a dispute just get me scammed and wait until i can esculate to paypal.

Hey GavinSteel,

I'm glad you came here to ask, that is a great question. Once a dispute is closed by you, it cannot be reopened. There is no need to close a dispute for a seller to issue you a refund. They can go this whether the dispute or claim is open or not. If you cancel your dispute, you will not be able to take any action through PayPal against the seller if they don't honor the refund. I would definitely advise waiting and escalating if need be.
