On more than one occasion I have attempted to sell items on Craigslist. I have had the same thing happen each time. Someone agrees to the price, thinks the item looks well worth the money and wants to pay me using my PayPal account. They claim to pay in full as soon as I provide them the email address to my PayPal account.
I know this is a scam and never provide the email address. I'm sure they never pay for the item if you do give them the email address. My question is, how do they use the email address to benefit?
