Please help me if you can, I really appriciate it, Christmas is coming up soon and I really need the money for gifts and the watch was meant to be a gift for my son. Thank you so much!
Situation:
On the 19th of last month, I purchased a 1,000 watch from a man ( I am not going to reveal his name to prevent embarrasing him ) but I was suspicious that it was a fake since it didn't have a proper engraving on the back, so I decided to pay with paypal for the secruity and send it to the company, frederique constant, to get it authenticated. After about a week and a half, the watch came back along with a letter saying that the watch wa not produced in their factory. So, I told the man that the watch was not authentic and he insisted that it was and asked for the letter. I told him that I would send it after I got home, this was all through text. Then I decided to just call him since I thought it was would be faster and easier to understand each other that way. Well, in the phone call, he agreed to let me return it for a full refund so I brought it to him and he said that he would give me the full refund right when he got home. I stupidly said ok and left. After a few hours I still did not recieve the refund so I called him up and he refused to give me my refund so I filed a case with paypal on the 29th of last month. After that, he started asking for the letter again in the text since I had forgotten to give it to him before but I ignored him because I was quite **bleep** and thought that I would just let paypal handle it. Then, he threatened to not resolve my claim unless I presented the letter and I got even more **bleep** since he already has his watch but he is holding my money hostage. After that, I decied to give paypal a call since the claim was taking a while longer than I thought it would be, this was satturday, the representative told me that she would expedite my claim and that she would work with the fraud department to solve this ASAP. Well, the next day, the man texts me again and says "paypal said that you returned the watch, when did this happen?!" At this point, I still ignored him since he clearly knows that I did and I dont want to fall into any scammer's trap and decided to once again let paypal handle this.
Problem:
But, Paypal still hasn't done anything, the claim has not been updated since the 29th when I opened it, and Christmas is fast approaching. Is there any way to get paypal's attention or have then speed up the claim, I have learned my lesson that I should follow my gut and don't by questionable things, even part of my money back would be great but it seems like they don't value me as a customer and I have sent a lot of money through this site, If there is any way that you can help or if there is a method that could get their attention, I would really appreciate it, thank you!
