can someone help me understand what is going on

I sold come bitcoin on localbitcoin using paypall as payment,  I was stupid and rushed and got scammed,  the person who was doing the buying

was a scammer.

So shortlly after by bitcoin was gone, and the amount had arrived in my paypall account  they claimed a chargeback against me with Paypall,   reason was, " the buyer stated that they did not make this purchase"  having no tracking info, and this being Bitcoin I understood quickly I was scammed and my bitcoin is gone.  Fine, I get that

no problem, I updated the case as such and paypall refunded the buyer and closed the case, paypall took the money out and sent me an email case closed.  Fine,  life goes on.

Now,  exactly 30 days after the buyer opens a charge back again this time the reason is "the buyer stated they did not authorize this purchase"

the case number and trasaction ID's are all the same as the original.

Now I have a "paypall is investigating case" with no option to add any input, I called paypall and I explained to them and the support person agreed the case is closed, yet the investigation is still open.

I am worried I will get a double chargeback.....

can anyone help me understand, I though if a case is closed it cannot be re opened. And why is the buyer allowed ot even open a second chargeback

after he already got a full refund?

Is there any way Paypall can chargeback me for the same transaction again?  Even after case already closed in buyer's favor?

you Will need to contact PayPal customer service. I am sure that PayPal must have sent this person a survey or a feedback email and the person used that opportunity to try and get another refund. There should be some type of proof of communication between the two of you regarding the sale of bitcoin. Take pictures with your phone or screenshots to serve as proof that this transaction took place. Use the same ID number in an email to PayPal customer service and send everything you have in an email to them. Call customer service about 20 minutes after you send the email at <removed>. This is exactly what scammers do. I hope you get your money back. Otherwise, this can be a civil case in which you can sue. Good luck!
