HI , I recently did a transaction where the consumer would send me 85.00 USD with a paypal gift. I did recieve it but it sais it will take up to 8 hours to be put to my wallet. I got it yesterday and it is still not added on my wallet. The status is paid by him so I'm a bit confused here. If anyone can help that be great 🙂

You should not be selling using the gift option as it gives your buyer no protection.

If PayPal find out you are doing so (and posting here is a bit of a giveaway) then you risk your PayPal account being limited.
