When someone sends you money through Paypal, can they take it back?

Hey! I'm a cam model, and i'm wondering how safe paypal is for recieving customer payments.

If someone sends money to my paypal account, and the funds show up in my account, is it possible for them to take that money back or is it mine as soon as it's in there?

i'm wondering because I heard of people getting scammed through paypal payments.

A buyer can file a dispute for non receipt of item............but that will fail if you can provide a tracking number that proves delivery of the item to the buyer.

A buyer can file for item received but not as described...............in that case paypal often find in favour of the buyer BUT they have to send the item back to you at their own expense before you have to refund them.

A buyer can file a chargeback or unauthorised payment............you won't lose out AS LONG AS you met ALL the criteria of seller protection...............so go read up on seller protection AND make sure you are not selling on a personal account or you will lose that protection.

Failing all that there are some items not covered by seller protection so again read up first .

Nothing is 100% safe, you need to risk assess each transaction yourself.

Just do NOT send anything before the funds are showing in your paypal account balance.
