how to do a refund?

i want to do a refund because i do not want to ship this item anymore, (i have never used paypal before so help would be good), i have not received the payment et because i havent shipped the item and it doesnt show up in my pending receiving money thing, and the buyer had to credit me more money to increase my limit, since they need that money back how do i do this? paypal says that the  payment was approved or something like that, if you understand what i am trying to say please help me!

Hi 676 If u haven't received payment then u can't refund. U haven't received payment because this is a SCAM. Ppal NEVER tell u to ship the item first in order to receive payment. They also never tell u to pay anyone else when selling. When u get paid u will see the payment in your account. Never ship unless u see cleared payment in your account. The emails u are receiving are fake they aren't from ppal they are from your scammer. Read up on how ppal works before selling again. U have had a lucky escape thx goodness u didn't ship!

Paypal is holding your buyer's payment.

You should be shipping. You can print a Paypal shipping label and the payment for it will be taken from the Held payment.

You have only 7 days to ship to keep your Seller Protection.

Did your customer ask for a cancellation and a refund?

Do you have a credit card and/or a bank account attached to your PP account?

You can refund her and the money will be taken from your account. The rest will be released when the Hold payment expires.

Hi kkootenay. The seller states I have not received payment because I haven't shipped the item. U don't have to ship first before u receive payment this is a scammers tactics. Even if u are a new seller the payment will still be in your account on hold/pending. Never ship unless u see the payment in your account.
