Can't link Bank Account on Student Account

Hello,

I've just barely set-up a student account here on Paypal, I have a Bank Account and could link it to my original Paypal account before I found out you had to be atleast 18 to have one.

Now when I try to link my bank account to my Student Paypal it gives me this error:

"sorry- your last action could not be completed

If you were making a purchase or sending money, we recommend that you check both your PayPal account and your email for a transaction confirmation after 30 minutes.

Is this an issue with the account itself or is there a way to fix this?

Same exact situation here. Except, my account was originally setup way over a year ago and I never used it. The PayPal card expired in 2012. I'm hoping the problem is related to the fact that the account "timed out" as it really shouldn't depend on having an active debit card.
