E-mail address confirmation - not receiving the e-mail

Hello,

 

I'm trying to confirm my e-mail address, but I seem to never receive the confirmation e-mail. The webpage says

Step 1. Go to your email

We sent an email to: <my@address>

 

but I checked the spam folder, also tried the process multiple times, nothing. And I'm sure I'm checking the correct inbox, as today I received an email notifying me I should confirm my address.

 

Is there any way around this problem?

Hello there!

 

That's unfortunate you're not receiving our emails to confirm your email address.  These are slightly different from some of the other communications we send out, and so providers sometimes block them.  If you've also gone through your filter settings and ensured we aren't blocked, you'll want to reach out to your email service provider to have them take a look at the issue and find out why they aren't coming through.

I am not receiving any emails from you, either, to help me confirm my email.

You'll want to start out by following the same steps the other poster describes - check your junk and spam folder settings, check your list of blocked senders, add @paypal.com to your trusted list.  If that doesn't work after you re-request the email, you'll want to reach out to your email provider.

It does look a little different from some of our other communications.  It should come from the same address as everything else, however.

I am also experiencing this same problem. I don't use my attached email anymore and so it's imperitive that it gets updated. I have checked my current email adress (one I wish to change to) along with every other email address I've ever used over the past few years (which I should note has dug up some demons of my past I'd rather not have had to see) and none of these have the email. I am using an iCloud @me domain and nothing is coming through at all. I have also checked junk folders and there is nothing anywhere. I can overlook it for the purchase I am about to make but I really need support in getting this email changed so I can continue using the PayPal service in future.

So, I had the same issue. But my problem/question is, I need the email confirmation for entry to a sound check party that I purchased a pass for. I've updated my email address and settings, but can anyone tell me if a confirmation email can be resent to me? I printed the transaction's reciept hoping that'll be enough, but would feel much better having that email confirmation.
