Email Removed but Still Able to use it to Log In

I have recently removed two email addresses from my Paypal and I have (or course) selected another as my primary email. However, even two days after the change, I can still use the old addresses to log into the account. When I try to use them to sign up for another account, it says that they are in use.

 

???

 

What's happening? I have emailed Paypal about this only to get a canned response with instructions on how to remove and update my email -.-.

 

How long does it take to update the change? Or will it never update?

Cookies .... delete your browser's cookies, history and temp files.  Close the brower, reopen it and retry.  If issue is still happening, suggest contacting customer support and asking them to look at your account.  You can also test using a different web browser or even a different PC.

If you used those emails to receive payments on eBay then removing them was a very bad idea....

Thanks for the suggestion, but it is not my browsing history or computer. It is Paypal. I would love to know if they realize they are having an issue, and when it will be fixed. Or, at least, I would like to know if it is the case where you can't really remove an email from an account.

 

I need to use the emails on another PayPal account. 

 

They were not used for eBay or eBay related payments.
