How do I set my pay pal account to block international payments?

That's my question. I'm a new ebay seller and can't find a place on ebay or pay pal to set this up. I say on the listing page "No international shipping available" but just learned that there are ways to make this happen via settings rather than depending on everyone to honor what I say in the listing. Does anybody know how to do this? I've been hunting around both sites and haven't found anything in the "preferences" links I've visited to help. Thank you.

Hi Bagz and welcome to the Community!
You can update these settings under your Profile. On the Profile page, under "My selling tools" you should see "Getting paid and managing risk".
There are several options in this section, you will find the option to block payments from non-US accounts under the "Block payments" section. This will prevent customers who have non-US accounts from completing payments to you, this however may not prevent non-US eBay buyers from bidding.
To insure that your eBay account is setup correctly you can reach out using several of the options listed on eBay's Customer Service page, I personally have found the "Find an answer" tool to be very useful for many of my questions.
I hope this helps!

I have a follow-up to this question. I do not see the option you're referring to on the "Getting paid and managing risk" page. Are there some situations where this option is not available?

Hi rtaco2,
There should be a "Country Monitor" filter on that page which would allow you to choose which countries are accepted. You'll just need to select the radio button next to Country Monitor and then click the edit button. 🙂
The other option that Zazu mentioned is on another page separate from Managing Risk and Fraud. It's in the same My Selling Tools section but it's called "Block Payments". On that page you should see this setting:
I hope this helps! 🙂
