How to change payment notifications from HTML to plain text

Can someone tell me how to change my payment notifications from HTML to plain text?  I've been using pay pal for years w/o a problem. Now all of a sudden when I print the notifications, it uses 2 pieces of paper & has advertisements from pay pal on it. It tells me to go to my settings under my profile. When I do that, I can't find anything that offers a choice between HTML or plain text.  Thanks!

There are going to be two routes to get to this:

1.  Settings > Notifications > Account Updates (expand) > Change "Get email notifications" to "text only format" > save

2.  Profile > My Settings > Update beside Notifications > Under Payment Notifications, select Plain Text > Save
