Lately, when logging in, PayPal immediately starts asking me for details about my business. I am NOT A BUSINESS! I never was a business. I do not want to become a business. Is there a way to get this to stop or do you just have to cancel all subscriptions to PayPal and drop it completely?
Many Thanks,
Bob

If they are asking for business info then you must have opened a business instead of a personal account.

I don't think so, because this just started after many, many years of 'normal' PayPal'ing. But let's say it is true. If so, how do I cancel this business account?
Many Thanks,
Bob

Have you recently started to sell using a personal account? That may trigger it.
If not then your best bet is to contact customer services and if it is a business account they can downgrade it for you OR if you have started to sell but are not a registered business they can change it to an individual business account ie the old premier account. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Click on the words "Contact" at the bottom of your paypal account summary page and use the phone option (if there is one in the country you are in) > click on the "call us" option on the left (fees "may" apply so check the cost with your phone tariff first, as you sometimes have to wait a while to connect).
When you get through don't select any options just hang on till you get transfered to an agent or say the word "agent".
OR have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a personal message from their facebook or twitter pages.
It's: https://www.facebook.com/PayPal and @AskPayPal for Twitter.

I get the frustration. I cannot use my paypal account because this "business" question pops up every time I try to look at anything within my account. I got an email telling me the only way I could claim my funds, was to convert to a business account. Nice job Paypal, you have all my money, I have nothing. No suprise there.
