Paypal confirmation code

I have been trying to update my bank info on paypal, and by removing my old card and adding my new one it says they have sent me a conformation code into my bank. I can see it come up as i have an mobile clydesdale banking app. I can only see the 1st number of the 4 letter code because the line has other words before it but i cant find a way to see the full message. I tried looking on my internet banking, but the transaction hasnt came up at all on that. Any suggestions? Having to call customer service is something i cannot be bothered doing as it should seem simpler than this.

I want to make sure I understand. You're saying that the code is showing up in your mobile app, but it is still too soon for it to show up on the online banking site of the bank itself? If I'm understanding that correctly then I believe you just need to give it a little more time. Most banks update overnight. Since the app shows that it is there, it's likely that you just have to wait for your bank to update. I would be surprised if it doesn't show up on your bank's site by tomorrow. There are a couple of things you can try in the interim. If you are using a phone or tablet, rotate it sideways which allows more room for text to appear. Using a gesture to enlarge the area where the text appears may help also. Last ditch idea: try copying the text where the code appears, use select all and copy. Then past it into a blank document or email to see if you can read it. If none of those work, I'm afraid that you'll have to wait for your bank to update or contact customer service. Good luck.
