Paypal requires 9 digit routing number, mine is only 8

I have a bank account with BMO Harris; it is an American bank.  However, my routing number is only 8 digits, not the standard 9.  Should I contact my bank?  PayPal?  Where should I go? What should I do?

I am trying to link my bank account with my PayPal.

Contat your bank and ask to speak with a customer rep.  They should be able to tell what they use for ACH transfers.
