Your connection is not private

Many times when I tried to get access to Paypal.com, I saw this message:

Your connection is not private

Attackers might be trying to steal your information from www.paypal.com (for example, passwwords, messages, or credit cards). NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID

Then I needed to wait for several hours/maybe 10 hours to get access to Paypal.

Because it happened so frequently, I was wondering does anyone have same issue? Is Paypal aware of this?

Thanks

Do you have a password on your router?

I've seen this happen from my own private router and also from other Wi-Fi locations.  When I checked the details, the security alert implied that it was a problem with the originating site, not the router.  This also happened with my trusted hosting service provider site.  It's intermittent but doesn't seem to be router related but to the originating site system.  When Google Chrome provided the alert I clicked on the details, and then tried later.   I don't remember the details of the error report but soemthing to the effect that originating site didn't provide details of the security certificate.

I have faced this error a few times on my computer. I would suggest you to verify two things first:

- the date and time of your computer if it's correct or not.

- turn off any kinds of antivirus software, internet security program, or firewall. Sometimes, these programs will block SSL connection and show this error message.

You can check this article to learn more about solutions to fix it.
