Can't add a bank account in Venmo because of Paypal?

I'm a current PayPal user for personal. I've set up my bank account for PayPal. I'm attempting to also set up a Venmo account and add the same bank account. However, when I enter the bank information (routing and account #) it tells me the account already exists. I'm assuming that is because Venmo is looking at my PayPal account and seeing the duplicate bank account. So, right now, I can't use Venmo to pay anyone. Is there a way to connect the accounts?

Where is the resolution?  This shouldn't be taking a month to answer.  Already not a fan of Venmo.
