I relocated several weeks ago, and have only since then changed my billing address with one of my bank cards (directly with the bank, not via paypal), which I did several weeks ago as well.
Tonight I tried to purchase something via paypal that was declined due to incorrect billing address, when it occurred to me that, even though I had changed the billing address with my bank, I had not yet changed it in Paypal.
So I tried to change it in Paypal - it let me add the address as my primary address, but when I try to change it for my cards, it won't allow it. I understand maybe there is some time that needs to elapse, but one of the cards that it won't allow me to change is one I changed weeks ago. The others I have now changed the billing address with the providers themselves, but it still won't allow me to change it.
Contacting Paypal customer service has always proven useless to me, they don't ever seem to understand the issue and take forever to respond. I seem to remember I had this issue last time I moved, too, and I can't remember what the solution was.
Has anyone else had this issue? How did you resolve it?
