Cannot add credit union bank account

I cannot add my credit union bank account.

When I type in the routing number, it does not accept the routing number. It's not like this is a small credit union either. It's Golden 1. Is something going on here?

Tried contacting Paypal via help center & calling. They disconnect on all the calls before I reach a human & the emails & message center are all automated bots that grab a keyword & send a reply that has nothing to do with the issue.

Here are some common issues you might encounter when linking a bank account:

* The bank account must be a U.S. bank.

* The bank account can’t be linked to more than one account at a time.

* The bank account can't be linked if it has already been linked to 3 previous PayPal accounts.

* The name on the bank account must match the name on the PayPal account.

PayPal can confirm accounts from most banks and credit unions.  Unfortunately, there are some banks that are not compatible with PayPal, including most online only or prepaid bank accounts.  If you receive the message "Check and Try again," you may have typed the wrong number, or PayPal may not accept your bank.

The bank did fit all the requirements that PayPal requires for it to be a bank. Account also had no issues whatsoever with that. Nor was it used ever on a PayPal account. I ended up having to call him several times before I finally got a human that would not disconnect when they're five minutes for dealing with a customer was over. We did get the account added. The agent suspected the website was to blame.
