I requested a balance transfer from my PayPal account to my bank account Friday at about 10AM. I looked this morning(Saturday) and the funds aren't there. Do they transfer the funds in the evening, after bank close, technically making it a Saturday transfer, which would make the funds available Monday or Tuesday or should I be concerned? Note:. This is my first PayPal deal and the transfer still shows "pending" in my PayPal account page.
when you made the transfer,what did Paypal say how long it takes?
It would sometimes say 1 day,usually it means business day,not weekend and holidays ,but most would take 3-5 days.
if it said pending,then Paypal 's bank where your money is kept have not submitted it into ACH network,also dont forget your bank would take a day to allocate fund to individual accounts.
You may want to apply for a Paypal business debit card which is free,and you can withdraw from ATM,or go shopping with it,the fund would come from your Paypal account backed by your bank fund,daily cash and spending limits applied,you get 1% cash rebate if used as a credit card.
I have the same problem except my pp account says the transfer is complete. My money is not in my bank account or pp account. What's the real reason transfers take so long? Bet it has something to do with interest.
